B / 228th ASHB at Bear Cat

Photo is courtesy of Rene Aucoin. Rene says this is all that was left of the rotor heads after the blade strike at Bear Cat. Jim Kale was a pilot with B/228th at Bear Cat when this crash photo was taken. Jim recalls that a Mule Skinner aircraft that was visiting tried to taxi thru a reventment in the wrong direction, not knowing there was insufficient rotor clearance. Thanks for the details, Jim.
